SEATTLE - (Mar. 27) Adam Reeb, the head men's and women's tennis coach at Seattle U, has been recognized by the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) as the 2016 College Coach of the year for the PNW Division.

"I'm humbled and honored to be selected as the USPTA's 2016 College Coach of the Year for the PNW Division," said Reeb.

"I'm extremely grateful to Seattle U for giving me the opportunity to come and lead the tennis programs here.

I'm also very thankful to have such an amazing group of men's and women's tennis student-athletes to work with.

It's never easy coming into a program, but they made the transition very easy for me. It's a great group of young men and women who represent SU so well.

I also want to express my gratitude to Chelsea Herman, our Assistant AD for Compliance and Senior Woman Administrator who oversees the tennis programs, for her never ending support of our teams and for my wonderful assistant coaches we've had here at SU, Coach Matt Look, Coach Riley Newman for last year, and Coach Justin Roe for this current season.

They are such great coaches and people and I am thankful to get to work with them and have them be a part of our program.  I'm excited for the future of our tennis programs as we continue to strive to win WAC Championships and make NCAA Tournaments."
