SEATTLE (March 22) – Seattle University women’s basketball will host its annual team banquet on Wednesday, April 5, at the Crowne Plaza. The Redhawks will celebrate their terrific 2016-17 season with the downtown event, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are $50 and will include a reception, dinner, and the presentation of team awards. Please contact Judy Yu at yuju@seattleu.edu for more information.
Coach Suzy Barcomb, in her first season at Seattle U, guided the Redhawks to their first postseason appearance since 2013. After being picked to finish seventh in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) preseason polls, SU went 10-4 and took second in the regular-season standings. It then advanced to the WAC Championship game at the conference tournament. The Redhawks earned an invite to the WNIT for the first time in four years.
Fans are encouraged to join the program as it honors the senior class and recognizes those responsible for an exciting season of Redhawk women’s basketball.
