CSCAA RELEASE
ESSEX FELLS, N.J. (Feb. 7) – Seattle University men’s and women’s swimming has been named a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for Fall 2016.
Coach Craig Nisgor’s squads earned the recognition following strong performances in the classroom in the fall. The women posted a 3.51 grade point average and the men tallied a 3.18 GPA. To receive the honor, programs must achieve at least a 3.0 GPA in the fall.
A total of 638 programs across the NCAA’s three divisions picked up awards this fall.
The SU women have now earned CSCAA Scholar All-America honors in each of the last eight terms, while the Redhawk men have picked up recognition in seven of the last eight academic periods.
