SEATTLE - (Feb. 5) A succesful weekend ended on a high note Sunday afternoon as the Seattle U men's tennis team won it's second consecutive match by defeating Pacific Lutheran 6-1 at the Tennis Center at Sand Point.
It was another complete performance which included a clean doubles sweep and continued success in singles. John Stormans and Matt Alderson had particulary impressive showing in the singles bracket, winning their matches 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-0, respectively.
Head coach Adam Reeb was pleased with matches this weekend and is hopeful to get closer to full health with further rest.
"It was good to get another home win this afternoon," said Reeb. "The guys played well across the board and played another pretty complete match. We're at home again next weekend so we're looking forward to hopefully getting healthier and competing again next weekend."
The Redhawks host Portland State next Saturday at 6:00 p.m. followed by a 1:00 p.m. match on Sunday against Linfield College.
