SEATTLE (Dec. 5) - The 2016 season marked the 50th anniversary of men's soccer at Seattle University. The inaugural 1967 team was honored at Championship Field on Sept. 30.
Seattle U men's soccer has a storied tradition, including a 2004 NCAA Division II Championship. The first team, in 1967, went 7-2-0. This year, the Redhawks won 11 games and have the longest current home winning streak in Division I (16 matches).
Commemorate the 50th anniversary with a photo gallery from the celebration at Championship Field earlier this year and a video highlighting the 1967 team's return to campus.
