SEATTLE - (Dec. 20) Registration is now open for the Eighth Annual Meet the Redhawks event, scheduled for Friday, Jan. 27 at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront.
Join in ushering in the 2017 Seattle University baseball season at this annual dinner and auction benefitting the Redhawk program. Seattle U is also proud to announce that this year’s event will feature Seattle Mariners Manager Scott Servais as the special guest speaker.
"This event is huge for us because the proceeds go toward helping us with our operating budget as well as projects we continue to do at Bannerwood Park to upgrade the facility,” said Seattle U Head Coach Donny Harrel, who enters his ninth season this spring.
“To be able to have Scott Sevais be a part of our night is amazing,” Harrel continued. “Our relationship with the Mariners and all that they have done to help us continually grow has been incredible. Servais becomes just another example of how giving our community truly is and how important baseball is to it."
Cocktails and a silent auction will kick off the night at 5 p.m. A VIP reception is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and a live auction at 7 p.m.
Individual tickets are $75 while a VIP ticket is $150. Group prices are also available, including $650 for a table of 10 or $1,300 for a VIP table of 10. Seattle Marriott Waterfront also offers special room rates for the event.
