Eli Boudouris (Portland, Ore.) has been named Featured Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of October 18th through October 25th. Boudouris, a sophomore nursing major, had a tremendous race in challenging conditions on Saturday at the Emerald City Open. He was the first collegiate finisher, third overall, in the race held at Lower Woodland Park.
Off the field, Boudouris is a student in the College of Nursing and has earned over a 3.59 GPA in his first year at Seattle University. Balancing the demands of Division I athletics and the rigor of a bachelor of science in nursing program is an extremely challenging undertaking at Seattle U. He is off to a terrific start excelling in both areas.
The Seattle University athletics department names a Featured Student-Athlete each Tuesday based on performances both in the classroom and in competition. Boudouris is our third honoree for the 2016-17 academic year.
