SEATTLE – (Oct. 10) Midnight Madness is back at Seattle U.
The legacy event makes its way back to campus as the newly-renovated Connolly Complex plays host on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 10 p.m.-12 a.m. in the North Court.
Midnight Madness, sponsored by Lyft, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Alaska Airlines, will celebrate the beginning of basketball season, and show what being a Redhawk is all about. The first 500 students to show up will receive free t-shirts provided by BECU, and snacks will be available for all.
The men’s and women’s players and coaches will be introduced so students will get to know the Redhawk basketball team. Connolly will play home to both teams this year, with the men’s team playing 10 games at KeyArena and the other six at Connolly. The women’s team will play all games in Connolly.
People will learn cheers and dances together, and can put it to practice while watching drills and a three-point contest, followed by an intense game of P-I-G.
At the end, one random man and woman will be selected from the crowd to participate in a half-court shot in hopes of winning roundtrip tickets to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies.
You won’t want to miss one of Seattle U’s legacy events. Midnight Madness is a college tradition unlike any other, and SU can’t wait to bring it back to campus.
