ABOUT THE REDHAWKS
• Seattle U is 2-2-1 on the season following a 1-0 setback to Washington on Monday.
• The Redhawks posted back-to-back shutouts to open the season and have not allowed more than one goal per game since.
• Senior transfer Brie Hooks has scored all three goals for the Redhawks, including a converted PK with two seconds remaining against the Broncos.
Ashley Routh has played all all but nine minutes in goal, posting two shutouts and making nine saves.
Stephanie Spiekerman was named WAC Defensive of the Week on Aug. 22 after playing the entire 90 minutes in the 1-0 shutout win against Texas (Aug. 19) as a center back. She held down the SU back line, limiting Texas to just one shot on goal despite 17 total attempts.
• The Redhawks begin this season as the co-favorite to finish atop the Western Athletic Conference standings in a preseason vote of the league’s eight head coaches.
• Three players were also named to the 11-member Preseason All-WAC Team, including sophomore forward Kari White, redshirt sophomore midfielder Isabelle Butterfield and junior defender Stephanie Spiekerman.
• Seattle U went 14-3-3 overall and 8-0-2 in WAC play in 2015, claiming the 2015 regular-season title before falling to UVU in the championship match of the WAC Tournament.
• The Redhawks return six starters from last year’s squad, along with a pair of key players from the 2014 lineup who redshirted last fall and senior transfer Brie Hooks who was the University of Colorado Female Athlete of the Year and an All-Pac-12 Second Team selection in 2014.

ABOUT THE VANDALS (1-2-2)
Idaho enters Friday’s match with a 1-2-2 overall record. The Vandals opened 2016 with a 1-0 loss at South Dakota, then picked up their first win of the season, 3-1, against Grand Canyon. They’ve also played to a 2-2 tie with Gonzaga, fell 2-0 to Hawaii and played to a scoreless draw with Saint Mary’s. Five different Vandals have scored one goal apiece, while five players also have one assist each. Torell Stewart has played all 490 minutes in goal, making 24 saves and holding a 1.10 GAA.

SERIES HISTORY VS IDAHO
Seattle U is 9-0-1 in 10 matches against the Vandals. The Redhawks won nine straight over Idaho before last season when the teams played to a scoreless draw in Moscow, Idaho.
