Action begins Friday, Aug. 26 with a 1:30 Pacific start against West Virginia. The weekend wraps up Sunday, Aug. 28 against the host Zips at 4:30 p.m. Pacific.

ABOUT THE REDHAWKS
• Seattle U earned a No. 14 preseason national ranking in the NSCA Coaches Poll, a No. 9 ranking in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Top 25 and a No. 12 spot in the CollegeSoccerNews.com Top 30.
• The Redhawks are the preseason favorite to repeat as Western Athletic Conference champions, according to a vote by the league’s 11 head coaches.
• Senior defender Kyle Bjornethun and junior forward David Olsen were selected as WAC Preseason Defensive and Offensive Player of the Year, respectively.
• The duo were also named to the watch list for the 2016 Missouri Athletic Club’s (MAC) Hermann Trophy. Olsen was a semifinalist for the 2015 WAC Hermann Trophy, Bjornthun was the 2015 WAC Defensive Player of the Year. The two were also named NSCAA All-Americans last season with Olsen earning first team honors and Bjornethun picking up second team honors.
• David Olsen concluded last season tied for the nation’s best in goals scored, finishing the year with 16.
