SEATTLE - The 2016 summer session of Seattle University men’s basketball training and classes culminates over the next two weeks with the program embarking on a European Tour on August 19-28.
The 15-member squad, including 10 returning players and five newcomers, coaching staff, support staff and University representatives, will travel to London and Paris over the 10-day trip. Highlighting the trip will be sightseeing tours in both cities, as well as three basketball games.
In London, the Redhawks will face off against the London Lituanica on August 21 and the Reading Rockets on August 23. Both clubs compete in the English Basketball League Division I.
Seattle U will ferry across the English Channel on August 24, landing at the Dover Ferry Port in France. On August 25 the Redhawks will face the Tremblay Basketball Club.
