Head swim coach Craig Nisgor –
1) What’s your favorite summertime activity in general? Surfing.
2) What’s your favorite Seattle-specific summertime activity? Sailing.
3) What’s your favorite thing to grill (or have grilled for you) in the summer? Cheeseburgers.
4) How about a side dish? Grilled shrimp.
5) What was your favorite summer memory from childhood? Going to Sanibel Island, Florida every summer. Lots of fun and met a lot of great people.
6) If you could go on a camping trip with 3 people (living or deceased), who would you choose? Neal Peart, my grandfather, Chuck Norris.
7) What song will be on repeat this summer? Circles Around the Sun by Dispatch.
8) What’s your favorite part about SU in the summer? It’s very relaxing and a great place to show recruits.
9) Is there a certain place you love to go in the summer? Back east to see my family and my nieces.
10) What are you most excited for this fall when students are back on campus? Getting the season started.
Finally, any funny or entertaining stories to share that have happened to you since the end of Spring Quarter? Getting to go to the Olympic Trials, having Blaise [Wittenauer-Lee] swim there, and watching swimming with 14,000 other people!
