Head women’s rowing coach Jenny Park

1) What’s your favorite summertime activity in general? Hiking.

2) What’s your favorite Seattle-specific summertime activity? Soaking up some rays during the day and having a bonfire in the evening at Golden Gardens.

3) What’s your favorite thing to grill (or have grilled for you) in the summer? Chicken.

4) How about a side dish? Fresh tomatoes, cucumber, and avocado salad.

5) What was your favorite summer memory from childhood? Camping trips with my family – we went all over the PNW.

6) If you could go on a camping trip with 3 people (living or deceased), who would you choose? George Pocock, Oprah Winfrey, Eleanor Roosevelt.

7) What song will be on repeat this summer? Sam Hunt “Make You Miss Me”

8) What’s your favorite part about SU in the summer? It’s summer in Seattle – nothing is better!

9) Is there a certain place you love to go in the summer? I try to go to at least one new place every summer.

10) What are you most excited for this fall when students are back on campus? Fall is always so exciting. Rowing has such a walk-on focus, so I always look forward to finding new talent and dedicated rowers!
