The Redhawks finished the season in the Sweet 16 a year ago, ranked as high as No. 13 in the NSCAA poll and with a No. 11 RPI ranking going into the NCAA Tournament. SU defeated No. 25 UCLA in the Second Round game hosted on campus at Championship Field before the season end at No. 6 Syracuse.
Individually, All-Americans a season ago, Kyle Bjornethun and David Olsen look to lead SU once again on both ends of the field, each named to the MAC Hermann Preseason Watch List.
Not only excelling on the field, Seattle U men’s soccer is also among the elite academically, earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award (2014-15) for the second straight year.
