Recent Seattle University graduate and men’s basketball alum Jack Crook (Manchester, England) has been named to the 2015-16 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court. He represents SU as one of just four WAC schools to earn the academic accolades.

The strategic communications major also received Academic All-Conference accolades as a senior as well as helping lead the team to their first APR Top 10 Public Recognition Award.

A three-year member of the starting five, Crook started every game as a senior and ranked second on the team in scoring (10.1 ppg), rebounding (6.0 rpg), and field goal pct. (48.1 percent). Crook also led SU in blocks (21) in 2015-16.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the 2015-16 season. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically and a varsity player, must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, must have completed at least one year at their current institution, and must be a member of an NCAA or NAIA institution with a NABC member coach.
