Michelle Lui (Bellevue, Wash.) and Kelli Woodman (Denver, Colo.) of the Seattle University women’s tennis team continues their dominant play from spring 2016 through the summer across the country.

Recently, Lui won the Women’s Open Singles Draw at the Oregon State Tennis Championships by defeating four different opponents. Among those Lui defeated were UTEP’s Davina Meza as well as Bess Waldram, a five-star recruit who signed with Notre Dame. She also won the Women’s Open Doubles Draw with Utah State’s Sabrina Demerath.

In mixed doubles, Lui competed with her brother Jason, who recently committed to Columbia University, finishing runner up.

Lui’s Seattle U doubles partner, Woodman, also found recent summer success, winning the Doubles Draw at the ITA Summer Circuit event at the University of Colorado Boulder with Colorado State’s Madison Porter.
