“Michelle and Kelli capped off their terrific season with another honor as a WAC All-Tournament doubles team selection,” said head coach Adam Reeb. “They showed why they were First Team All-Conference in doubles by taking both their No. 1 doubles matches over the weekend vs. Chicago State and NM State. They’ve got great chemistry and complement each other well on the doubles court. Michelle and Kelli really embraced our aggressive style of doubles we have been working on all year and they had some really dominant performances against really good teams. It was great to watch and I’m really excited to see them continue to play together and lead our team next year.”
Lui and Woodman each were named All-Conference, also named First Team All-WAC as a pair after going 23-7 overall as well as 17-4 in duals throughout the 2015-16 season. Both return next season, looking to improve and lead the Redhawks to their first WAC women’s tennis championship.
