Seattle U Hosts DH, Travels to Davis
After splitting their first weekend at home and capping the weekend with a win over Boise State, Seattle University softball is scheduled to host Montana State Billings for a doubleheader on Wednesday before traveling to UC Davis for Aggie Invitational II. Scouting MSU Billings (5-12)
The Yellowjackets are on a five-game losing skid dating back to Feb. 14 coming into this week and are scheduled for a doubleheader at the University of British Columbia on Tuesday before making the trip to Seattle. Cameron Cassinelli leads Montana State Billings at the plate (.366, 4 HR) while Taylor Tokach has a team-low 4.44 ERA in the circle.

Scouting Stony Brook (5-10)
The Seawolves picked up two wins apiece on their opening two weekends, including a win vs. Maryland on Feb. 28 and last defeated Ball State on Mar. 4 before dropping their final four games last weekend, including two vs. No. 21 Notre Dame. Alexandra Pisciotta is batting .388 (3 2B, 2 HR) to lead the team and Jane Sallen owns a team-low 3.66 ERA in the circle with four of the team’s five wins.

Scouting UC Davis (8-13)
UC Davis had their best weekend thus far two weekends ago at their own Aggie Invitational I, going 4-1 with wins over Iowa State, Idaho State, and South Dakota before going 0-5 at UCLA/CSU Northridge’s Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament last weekend. Brianna Warner (.349) leads the team at the plate while Leah Munden (3.97, 6-4 record) has the lowest ERA among starters.

Scouting Colgate (0-5)
With only one weekend of play under their belt, the Raiders started their season at the Stetson Invitational from Feb. 26-28. Gillian Murray (.333) leads the team at the plate while Brigit Ieuter (2.02 ERA) and Kyle Griswold (2.52) each have a sub-3.00 ERA.

Scouting Nevada (14-3)
Despite dropping their most recent game to Sacramento State in five innings, the Wolf Pack put together a 12-game win streak from Feb. 14 to Mar. 4. Hannah Harger leads the team at the plate (.400) while Chase Redington has a team-low 2.55 ERA among starters. As a whole, the three-member pitching staff has a 2.38 ERA.

Larkins Receives First WAC Honor
Freshman Andie Larkins was named WAC Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 22-28), receiving the Redhawks’ first weekly honor of the season. She earned a 2-1 record and held opponents to .241 average vs. St. Mary’s and Sacramento State.
