Seattle University men’s tennis (5-10) swept all three doubles matches and took five of six singles en route to a 6-1 win over Pacific Lutheran (1-5).
“We had a great time today,” said head coach Adam Reeb. “It was so much fun doing a junior clinic with young tennis players in Sand Point’s program before our match. We had a blast and I’m really proud of how the guys represented SU and our program today. We then took care of business in our match, and it was nice to get eight different guys in, so we got the chance to see a lot of guys in action. We’re looking forward to continuing our homestand against a very good Swarthmore team on Thursday afternoon.”
The Redhawks took the first point, winning all three doubles matches, before winning five straight singles matches to clinch the victory.
Prior to the match, the Redhawks gave back to the community and did a tennis clinic with 23 junior players in Sand Point’s program.
Seattle U continues their homestand vs. Swarthmore on Thursday, Mar. 10 at 1 p.m. at Amy Yee Tennis Center in Seattle, Wash.
