“I’m so proud of our team today,” said head coach Adam Reeb. “To beat two quality teams back to back on the same day after dropping the doubles point is a testament to the girls’ heart and will. It wasn’t our prettiest tennis, but we played smart and with grit and grinded out these wins. We played cool and calm in singles and got contributions from everyone on the team. We’re looking forward to some much needed days off then back home for our last home match before we start conference play in Phoenix.”
The Redhawks return home to host George Fox on Mar. 5 at 5 p.m. at the Tennis Center at Sand Point before starting Western Athletic Conference competition in mid-March.

The Redhawks took a 3-0 lead through the first three singles matches to finish before UNC earned their first and only point of the match at No. 5 singles. Seattle U would respond with a pair of singles victories to close out the match and clinch the victory.
Match 2: Seattle U 5, Portland State 2
The Vikings earned the doubles point before taking a 2-0 lead as Dane Vorster earned a win at No. 1 singles.
