BOUNCING BACK: Seattle University looks to recover from last Saturday’s loss to CSU Bakersfield with two more home games this weekend. First, the Redhawks face New Mexico State in a rematch of last March’s WAC Tournament final. Two nights later, Seattle U takes on UT Rio Grande Valley with another opportunity to move up in the league standings.

WAC TOURNAMENT: Fans planning to attend the 2016 WAC Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas are encouraged to start making arrangements now. Blocks of rooms have been set aside at both the Orleans Hotel and Casino ($46/$115) and the Palms Casino Resort ($69/$129). The cut-off date at the Palms (code CASUA16) is Saturday, Feb. 6, while the special rates at the Orleans (code A6WAC03) are available until Monday, Feb. 8. DOUBLE TEAM CANCER: Thursday night, the Seattle U men’s basketball team will join with Fred Hutch for Double Team Cancer Night, a way to ask fans to help in the fight against cancer, Throughout the KeyArena concourse, representatives from Fred Hutch will be at various tables talking about the research taking place. There are also plans for a special giveaway to the first 500 fans courtesy of Fred Hutch.
