GAME #10: After its longest single-game road trip of the season, Seattle University will remain in the Puget Sound region for the remainder of 2015, spanning the next five games. That stretch starts Thursday night with the Redhawks’ second visit south to the ShoWare Center in Kent, where they will face Northwest Indian College, a school out of Bellingham, Wash. After this game, the Redhawks close out the non-conference schedule with games against schools from the Mountain West, PAC-12, and Big West conferences.

FIRST NATIONS CLASSIC: Thursday night’s game has been classified as the First Nations Classic, highlighting the relationship between Seattle University and the various Native American tribes in the area. In the past, the Seattle U basketball teams have made trips to selected reservations, including the Tulalip Reservation, to give clinics to young Native Americans. Also, youth teams representing the tribes have played games at KeyArena and toured the Seattle University campus. At halftime of Thursday’s game, Fr. Pat Twohy, a Jesuit who has served Native Americans in various capacities for over 40 years, will be honored for his service to the tribes.
