Langston assisted on both Redhawk goals in the 2-0 win at Utah Valley, the No. 2 seed going into this week’s WAC tournament, and combined with a strong Seattle U backfield to preserve the team’s eighth shutout of the season.
Olsen scored both goals in the 2-0 victory at Utah Valley after recording his first career hat trick last weekend vs. Incarnate Word (Nov. 1) as Seattle U won their second WAC regular season title in three years. He is now two goals shy of Miguel Gonzalez’s record (15) in Seattle U’s Division I record books for most goals in a season (Olsen: 13).
Seattle U is now tied with Creighton for most wins in the nation (16) and enters this week’s WAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed. As one of the top two seeds, they receive a first round bye and will face the winner of No. 4 Houston Baptist/No. 5 CSU Bakersfield on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. CT/5:30 p.m. PT.
