In order to give Seattle University fans a chance to catch both the swim meet and the volleyball match taking place on the same day, as well as to give the University of Idaho the opportunity to arrive home at an earlier time, the collegiate women’s swim meet between the Seattle U Redhawks and the Idaho Vandals will now begin at 11 a.m. at the Connolly Center Pool.

The Redhawk women bring a 5-1 dual meet record into Saturday’s meet, including victories over conference foes Northern Colorado and Grand Canyon as well as two wins over Loyola Marymount. Seattle U is led by junior Blaise Wittenauer-Lee (Portland, Ore.) and sophomore Paige Treff (Orland, Calif.), who each have been named WAC Swimmer of the Week so far this season.

Idaho brings a 3-1 dual meet record into Saturday’s meet, including victories over conference rivals Northern Colorado and CSU Bakersfield. Sarah Hall led the Vandals over the Roadrunners last Saturday with victories in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle as well as taking part in the Idaho 400 freestyle relay team that was victorious.

Admission is free for Saturday morning’s meet, but seating is limited within the Connolly Center Pool. Due to the ongoing construction within the Connolly Complex, spectators are asked to enter through the marked door just off 14th Avenue and take the stairs immediately to the left after entering the building. They should then walk around the upper pool before taking the stairs to the competition pool bleachers. Spectators are asked to not enter the building through the Eisiminger Fitness Center.
