Haworth recorded his 15th career shutout on Sunday, Oct. 18 vs. San Jose State, saving a penalty kick in the 52nd minute to preserve the clean sheet. On Friday, Oct. 16, he also earned the win, making one save, in a 3-1 win vs. CSU Bakersfield.
The Redhawks, who moved to the top of WAC standings after a pair of wins, earned their sixth shutout of the season on Sunday vs. the Spartans and have won 10 of their last 11 games.
Utah Valley’s Skyler Milne was named WAC Offensive Player of the Week after recording the program’s first hat track, scoring all three goals in a 3-2 win over San Jose State on Friday.
No. 24 Seattle U (12-3, 5-1 WAC) will travel to UNLV (Friday, Oct. 23 – 7 p.m.) and Grand Canyon (Sunday, Oct. 25 – 2:30 p.m.) this weekend before returning home for senior day on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m.
