SCOUTING HARVARD (1-2-1)
Harvard most recently picked up their first win of the season, a 2-1 win at Stony Brook on Sept. 13, after falling to LMU and UConn previously and tying then-No. 23 SMU, 2-2. Jake Freeman and Oliver White have each scored two goals apiece for the Crimson while, in goal, Evan Mendez has played all 380 minutes making 17 saves (.739 save pct., 1.42 GAA).
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH (2-1-1)
Dartmouth defeated Holy Cross in OT (Sept. 6) as well as Albany (Sept. 13) most recently after opening the season with a scoreless draw at UConn and a 1-0 loss to Colgate. Four different members of the Big Green have scored a goal apiece while two different keepers have seen time in goal.
NORTHWEST LITERACY FOUNDATION
Northwest Literacy Foundation will be at both games this weekend. Fans who either purchase a book, donate a book, or donate money will receive a voucher for a free ticket to an upcoming Seattle U soccer game.

For all home games, single game tickets can be purchased online (Ticketmaster), by phone (206-398-GOSU), at the SU Ticket Office (1218 E Cherry), or starting 60 minutes prior to kickoff at the NE entrance to Championship Field. For season tickets, the Redhawk Sports Pass allows for GA seating for all men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, and baseball home contests.

Next week, the Redhawks host crosstown rival Washington in their annual contest on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7pm at Championship Field. The match will also be broadcast on the WAC Digital Network, which is viewable by computer, phone, or tablet, with alums Renato Bandeira and Arne Klubberud on the call.
BEST OF THE WEST
In the Sept. 15 version of the NSCAA NCAA Division I Men’s West Regional poll, six of 10 are members of the Western Athletic Conference. The Redhawks (6th) are joined by Utah Valley (3rd), UNLV (4th), UMKC (7th), Grand Canyon (9th), and Air Force (10th).
REDHAWKS PICKED TO WIN WAC
Seattle U was picked to win the 2015 WAC title in the league’s coaches’ preseason vote. Kyle Bjornethun was named WAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year while Hamza Haddadi and Shane Haworth also joined Bjornethun on the Preseason All-Conference team.
NATIONALLY RANKED REDHAWKS
In 2014, Seattle U earned the program’s first two Division I national rankings since reclassification in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Top 25. On Sept. 2, the Redhawks were ranked No. 22 and on Sept. 30, they were ranked No. 24.
HADDADI TIES WAC SCORING RECORD
Senior forward Hamza Haddadi scored four goals, three on PK’s all in the first half, in the Redhawks’ 6-0 season-opening win vs. UC Davis. His goal total tied the Western Athletic Conference record for individual goals in a match set by New Mexico’s Justin Sells in 1996.
