Seattle University Athletics, in conjunction with Seattle University Career Services, hosted a dual Networking Fair/Young Alumni Panel on Monday, April 27 on campus.
Over 60 student-athletes were in attendance and interacted with representatives from companies such as Geico, Amazon, Boeing, Northwestern Mutual, Nordstroms, Hertz, and Swedish Medical Center. In addition, the Seattle Police Department, the Seattle University Career Services department, and the Seatte University Master of Sports Administration and Leadership program were represented during the night.
In addition to the companies in attendance, seven former student-athletes returned to campus to speak on a panel about their experiences post-graduation and provided great advice for current student-athletes to use moving forward. The panelists included: Keith Andrews (Swimming, 2013), Madison Goverde (Soccer, 2013), Nance Hill (Soccer, 2010), Amanda Luna (Track and Field, 2013), Ryan Somers (Baseball, 2014), Jackie Thomas (Basketball, 2009), and Corinne Wurden (Tennis, 2014).
