With the start of conference play in men’s collegiate basketball, the Seattle University athletics department announces that the Cameron Dollar Coach’s Show will resume Monday, Jan. 12, at 13 Coins, while the second Courtside Club Luncheon of the season will take place Tuesday, Jan. 13, at FX McRory’s.
The Cameron Dollar Coach’s Show will be taped for broadcast every Monday from Jan. 12 through March 2 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Night Owl Lounge at 13 Coins, located at 125 Boren Avenue North in Seattle. Dave Grosby and Gary Hill Jr. will be joined by Coach Dollar and a special guest each week, with Tim Leary, Executive Vice President of Seattle University, appearing on the program this coming Monday. The show will air on 770 AM KTTH each Monday from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.
On Tuesday, Jan. 13, Coach Dollar will be one of the special guests at the second Courtside Club Luncheon of the season. The luncheon will take place at FX McRory’s, located at 419 Occidental Avenue South in Seattle’s Pioneer Square district, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost to attend this event, taking place just two days before the WAC home opener against Texas-Pan American at KeyArena, is $25, and registration is available by going to the Special Events page on the Seattle U Athletics website (www.goseattleu.com/special-events).
The Seattle University men’s basketball team heads into conference play with a 7-7 overall record and will face defending WAC regular season champion Utah Valley Saturday, Jan. 10, in Orem, Utah, beginning at 6 p.m. Pacific time. Grosby and Hill will broadcast the game live on 770 AM KTTH, starting with the pregame show shortly before tipoff. Tickets for the seven home conference games are now available through Ticketmaster and the KeyArena Box Office.
