The Western Athletic Conference was well represented with seven of 11 first teamers and 16 of 33 across all three teams hailing from the WAC.
Hines-Ike led Seattle U with seven assists, ranking second on the team with four goals and 15 points in 2014. He has also been named First Team All-Conference as well as to the WAC All-Tournament Team twice in as many years in the league. Earlier this season, he was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Aaron Olitsky Memorial Classic in Charleston, S.C. (Aug. 29, 31) in the squad’s regular season-opening weekend.
Haddadi led the Redhawks in scoring in 2014 with seven goals and 16 points, including the game-winners in key conference road wins at Air Force (1-0 on Oct. 26) and at San Jose State (3-2 on Nov. 7). For his efforts, he received First Team All-WAC honors and was named WAC Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 27-Nov. 2) for scoring two goals, adding an assist, in the Redhawks’ weekend sweep over Houston Baptist and Incarnate Word.
Bjornethun scored four goals as a defender in 2014, good for second on the team, including his first career goal vs. Grand Canyon on Oct. 12. Scoring two goals in as many matches on the stretch, his next goal was possibly the most dramatic in a 1-0 double overtime win vs. Utah Valley on Oct. 18. The 2013 WAC Freshman of the Year received First Team All-Conference honors, also named to the WAC All-Tournament team in 2014.

The Redhawks earned their second straight first round bye in the Western Athletic Conference tournament in 2014, which they hosted at Championship Field. After winning the league title in 2013 and advancing to the semifinals in 2014, they will look to continue upward improvement in 2015.
