The Seattle University athletics department has set the dates for the first Cameron Dollar Coach’s Show on 770 KTTH and the first Courtside Club Luncheon of the 2014-15 basketball season.
The first Cameron Dollar Coach’s Show will take place Monday, Nov. 10, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Night Owl Lounge at 13 Coins, located at 125 Boren Avenue North in Seattle. Dave Grosby and Gary Hill Jr., the play-by-play broadcasters for Seattle University men’s basketball, will be joined by Coach Dollar as well as Lorenzo Romar, head coach of the University of Washington men’s basketball team, to preview the college basketball season that will start four nights later for both squads. The show will be taped for broadcast later Monday night from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 770 AM KTTH.
On Thursday, Nov. 13, Coach Dollar and members of the 20-14-15 Seattle U men’s basketball team will be the special guests at the first Courtside Club Luncheon of the season. The luncheon will take place at FX McRory’s, located at 419 Occidental Avenue South in Seattle’s Pioneer Square district, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost to attend this event, taking place just one day before the season opener against Texas State at KeyArena, is $25, and registration is available by going to the Special Events page on the Seattle U Athletics website (www.goseattleu.com/special-events).
Future radio shows and Courtside Club Luncheons will take place once the Western Athletic Conference season is underway in January 2015. Single-game tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster this Friday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m.
