Seattle University women’s rowing opened their fall 2014 season at the American Lake Fall Classic on American Lake in Lakewood, Wash.

“Today lit the fire that will carry us through the rest of the fall season,” said head coach Jenny Park. “We’ve got work to do before we head down to Portland in two weeks, but I’m confident we can get where we need to be.”

Portland came out on top in both the women’s collegiate 8+ and collegiate JV8+ races that Seattle U competed in.

After a week off from competition, Seattle U heads south for the Portland Fall Classic on Sunday, Oct. 26 before finishing the fall season back in Seattle at Head of the Lake on Montlake Cut on Nov. 2. Stay tuned to GoSeattleU.com for all the latest on the team.
