As part of a continuing preview of the upcoming WAC Digital Network, the Western Athletic Conference will be broadcasting two matches from Championship Field this weekend. Both the women’s soccer match vs. Grand Canyon on Friday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. PT and the men’s soccer match vs. Grand Canyon on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 1:30 p.m. PT will be broadcast on the network.

The pair of matches can be viewed HERE and are available on computers, tablets, and smartphones from anywhere for free. The broadcast also features adaptive streaming and will detect the user’s bandwidth and adjust the quality of the video accordingly.

The women’s soccer team, led by reigning Disney Soccer/NSCAA National Player of the Week Stephanie Verdoia, is defending a 15-game regular season conference winning streak, including a nation-leading 17-game overall WAC winning streak (including conference tournament play). The men, who have earned two national rankings in the past month, are unbeaten in all 11 of their league games since men’s soccer returned to the WAC in 2013.

More features including on-demand, viewing, original content, and features, as well as games of the week and WAC championships will be unveiled at the official launch later this month. Stay tuned to GoSeattleU.com for all the details.
