A full field of Seattle U basketball supporters enjoyed a round of golf at The Golf Course at Redmond Ridge this past Monday, Sept. 8, as the 12th annual O'Brien Open raised a significant amount of money for the Redhawk men's basketball program.

Presented by Copiers Northwest, this year's edition of the O'Brien Open served as a celebration of both the Seattle U men's basketball team as well as the life of Eddie O'Brien, who passed away last February. Johnny O'Brien once again spoke at the post-tournament dinner, talking about his brother and the importance of supporting Seattle U in Eddie's memory.

Cameron Dollar, entering his sixth season as head coach of the Seattle U men's basketball team, introduced the 2014-15 team to the dinner crowd and encouraged everyone to come to KeyArena to support the squad in person. The Redhawks will play 15 regular season games at KeyArena this upcoming season, including the crosstown matchup against Washington Nov. 21.
