Johnson and Allen join fellow signees Ashlyn Lewey (Spokane, Wash.) and Jacinta Beckley (Paraparaumu Beach, New Zealand) who signed their National Letters of Intent (NLI’s) during the fall 2013 signing period.
JAZMINE JOHNSON – PG – Lynwood High School (Lakewood, Calif.)
Johnson was selected to San Gabriel Valley All-League for all four years of high school and was Team MVP from 2012-14 (co-MVP in 2012 and 2013). She was named First Team All-CIF Division II in 2013 and Second Team All-CIF in the Girls Open Division in 2014. Johnson helped lead her team to a CIF Southern Section Division II championship (2012), a CIF Regional and State Division II championship (2013), and a CIF San Gabriel Valley and state quarterfinals Division I championship (2014). Johnson led her team in steals for all four years and was named First Team Wyoming Energy Classic (2014) as well as to the Collision XVI Coaches All-Star Game. Academically, Johnson was selected to the Principal’s Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA in 2014 and boasted over a 3.4 the previous two years. Outside of basketball, Johnson also participated in track and field and was a semifinalist in the 100 and 200 meter events at the 2013 CIF Southern Sectionals.

CRYSTAL ALLEN – G – Trimble Tech High School (Fort Worth, Texas)
Allen is a four-year varsity starter and senior captain from Fort Worth, Texas who helped lead her team to playoff appearances all four years. The team advanced to the second round of the playoffs in her freshman and sophomore seasons and to the regional championship in her senior season with a 37-5 record. Named a Radio Shack Scholar, she was also named Freshman Newcomer of the Year with a record-setting 657 points in her first season at TTHS. Allen is a three-time First Team All-District honoree and was named Offensive Player of the Year and to the All-Region team during her senior year. She has traveled the country with Southside Hornets and Higher Goals Elevation Elite club teams, with whom she was named MVP in 2011 and team captain in 2013. Outside of basketball, she received First Team All-District honors for volleyball.
Bonvicini on Allen: “Crystal is a versatile, smart wing player who will fill up a stat sheet. She’s an outstanding leader and is a great team player who will bring versatility to our guard position.”
