The Seattle University women’s golf team finished in 15th place after Wednesday’s third and final round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic, hosted by the University of Hawaii at The Bay Course.
For the second consecutive day, Dorsey Addicks (Big Sky, Mont.) finished with a birdie, 13 pars, and no single-hole score greater than a bogey to shoot three-over-par 75 for a cumulative score of 231 (+15), moving up into a tie for 37th place. Amanda Beyke (Federal Way, Wash.) also finished in a tie for 37th place at 231 (+15) after her second consecutive 76 (+4) that featured one birdie, 12 pars, and nothing higher than a bogey.
Juhee Lee (Manhattan, Ore.) shot 79 (+7) to finish the tournament in a tie for 65th place with a three-round total of 238 (+22). Nicole Gaddie (Salt Lake City, Utah) and Jamie Huo (Kent, Wash.) both shot 82 (+10) in the final round, with Gaddie finishing in 80th place at 244 (+28) ahead of Huo in a tie for 81st place at 245 (+29).
As a team, Seattle University combined for a third round score of 312 (+24), ending the tournament in 15th place with a final total of 937 (+73). Led by Grace Na’s eight-stroke victory for medalist honors, Pepperdine won the team title by nine strokes over Washington.
The Seattle University women’s golf team will head to Maricopa, Ariz., in two weeks for the Cowgirl Classic, hosted by the University of Wyoming April 7-8.
