“I’m thrilled with how the novice 8+ performed today,” said head coach Jenny Park. “The varsity 8+ and the novice 4+ had great races as well. We have some work to do but it was a really solid first spring race.”
The Seattle U novice 8+ finished first with a time of 7:16, defeating Portland’s A and B boats. The Redhawk novice 4+ finished second over two of Portland’s boats.
The team returns to competition on Saturday, Mar. 29 at the Cascade Sprints on American Lake in Lakewood, Wash.
