Kevin Krieger was able to capture a 6x6 elk during a hunting trip in Montana in late October that he bid on during the 2013 Meet the Redhawks Dinner.
Head coach Donny Harrel includes a spot on his annual hunting trip each year in the auction that accompanies the annual event that marks as the start of the baseball season. Last year Krieger emerged as the top bidder and was able to take the elk pictured during the weekend.
Information about the 2014 Meet the Redhawks Dinner is being finalized and will be announced by early December. The Seattle University baseball team is entering its second season in the Western Athletic Conference and looks to be one of the six teams to qualify for the WAC Baseball Tournament in Mesa, Ariz., in late May.
