Tail of the Lake, which was set to be the fall premiere for Seattle University women's rowing on Sunday, Sept. 29, has been cancelled due to inclement weather in Western Washington.
Nearly an inch of rain has fallen in the Seattle area over the last 24 hours and is expected to continue through the weekend and into early next week.
Seattle U will now begin their season on Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Portland Fall Classic on the Willamette River in Portland, Ore.
