The defending Western Athletic Conference regular season champion Seattle University women's basketball staff will be holding a Coaches Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 am - 5 pm.
Registration will start at 8:30 and the clinic will start promptly at 9 a.m. with a talk from Seattle U Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Wes Phillips entitled "The Seattle U Way and Movement Efficiency."
From 10 - 10:50 a.m., University of Washington head women's basketball coach Mike Neighbors will give a talk entitled "Things You Do A Lot."
Prior to the lunchtime break, from 11 - 11:50 a.m., Dan Muscatell, University of Oregon Assistant Women's Basketball Coach will talk about "10 Favorite Practice Drills."
After a lunch break from 12 - 1 p.m., WAC Coach of the Year Joan Bonvicini will talk about "Trapping Defense" from 1 - 2 p.m.
Starting at 2:30 p.m., coaches are invited to stay to watch Seattle U's women's basketball team practice.
