The Seattle University baseball team took a break from fall practice Sunday, but the Redhawks stuck together as they traveled to Bellevue for a team challenge that included a high ropes course.
The baseball players reported to campus Sept. 10 and started practice the next day, taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather to begin preparations for the 2013-14 campaign. After over a week of drills, intrasquad scrimmages, and the first family potluck of the season, the team left the baseball diamond and took on a different physical activity.
The team will head back to baseball-specific activities this week as classes begin for the fall quarter. On Saturday, Sept. 28, Seattle U will host its first Alumni Game since baseball returned as a varsity sport. The game is scheduled to take place at Meridian Park in Shoreline starting at 11 a.m.
