The Seattle University women's golf team, along with the squad from the University of Washington, participated in the Parent-Junior Golf Day at Sand Point Country Club Sunday, June 2, giving the young golfers a unique experience.

The collegiate golfers led a clinic for the junior golfers and their parents before a nine-hole scramble where one collegiate player joined a foursome for a fun experience. The program was put together by Craig Hunter, the head professional at Sand Point, with help from the people behind the junior golf program at the country club.

The participants in the clinic were treated to instruction and tips from Marc Chandonnet, head coach of the Seattle University golf team, Jerry Breaux, the PGA Director of Golf at BanBury Golf Course in Eagle, Idaho, and Mary Lou Mulfler, head coach of the Washington Husky women's golf team.

The Seattle University golf team just completed its first year in the Western Athletic Conference.
