Coming off their regular season title in the first season in the Western Athletic Conference, Seattle University women’s basketball is set to take a week-long trip to Costa Rica from August 19-26.

“We are very excited to be taking the team to Costa Rica in August,” said head coach Joan Bonvicini. “Our returning players and incoming class will all be a part of this tour. This will be an outstanding opportunity to bond as a team and to experience Central American culture.”

During the Costa Rican tour, the Redhawks will play three games versus international opponents on August 20, 21, and 22. The team will participate in a service learning project and will also have the opportunity to go zip-lining and white water rafting during the trip.

More information will be released as the trip nears and, throughout the trip, the team will post blogs and pictures on GoSeattleU.com, Seattle U Athletics on Facebook, @su_athletics on Twitter, and @su_wbb on Instagram.
