After taking the first game of the series from then-WAC leader, San Jose State, Seattle University softball (14-23, 3-6 WAC) returns home for a five-game homestand. This Weekend’s Promotions: Saturday is the team’s “Strike Out Cancer” breast cancer awareness day, with all proceeds benefitting Susan G. Komen - Puget Sound. There will be a raffle for gift certificates from local businesses, as well as a silent auction for a softball signed by the SU team. All popcorn sales that day will go towards the cause, and handouts with information related to the cause will be available.
