Seattle University softball was set to officially open the new Logan Field at Seattle University Park versus No. 18 Washington, but due to rain delay, the contest was postponed.
As rain started to lighten, the tarps were taken off and the field was prepared, as the start time was pushed back from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
However, the rain continued with strength and the official call to postpone came near 6:45 p.m.
The contest is set to be postponed to a mutually agreed upon date, TBD.
