With major league pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training in Florida and Arizona, baseball is in the air, and the Seattle University baseball team is ready for the 2013 season.

The baseball program just hosted its annual Meet the Redhawks Dinner and Auction, featuring guest speakers Dan Wilson and John Olerud. About 390 people attending the gathering Saturday, Feb. 9, with proceeds from the dinner, silent auction, and live auction led by Mike Gastineau benefiting the Redhawk baseball squad.

Another way to support Seattle University baseball is to buy season tickets and cheer on the Redhawks at Bannerwood Stadium in Bellevue. Season tickets cost only $50 and can be purchased by calling the Seattle University Athletics Ticket Office at (206) 398-GOSU (4678).
