Shephard led all players in scoring in both contests, with 15 and 21 points respectively, as SU went 2-0 over the weekend. On Feb. 7, they defeated Denver, 63-53, and on Feb. 9, topped New Mexico State, 78-62. From the field, she went 6-for-11 vs. Denver and 9-for-10 vs. New Mexico State.
Over the weekend, she averaged 18.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, three assists, and two steals per game. From the field, she shot 71.4 percent (15-for-21), as well as 66.7 (4-for-6). from behind the three-point line.
Seattle U (13-9, 10-3 WAC) hits the road for their final regular season road trip of the year, facing Louisiana Tech on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. PT and UT Arlington on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. PT, before returning home for their final three games.
