"Kacie is a strong, solid, versatile player who is a winner on and off the court," said head coach Joan Bonvicini.

As the team battled back versus Pacific on Nov. 9 to narrowly fall, 71-70, Sowell recorded her first double-double of the season (19 pts, 11 rbs), also adding three steals. She shot 8-for-13 (61.5 percent) from the field and 3-for-4 (75 percent) from the free-throw line.
