The Seattle University softball program welcomed alumni back to campus for their annual fall Alumni Game on Sept. 29. This year was particularly special for all involved, as the game was held on the recently reconstructed Logan Field at Seattle University Park. Seattle U head coach Dan Powers coached the current Redhawks team and former assistant coach, Terry Traverso, coached the alumni team.

The Redhawks will play in the University of Washington's fall tournament from Friday Oct. 5 - Sunday Oct. 7 to finish out their fall schedule. The team is preparing for their first season in the Western Athletic Conference, with a chance to win a WAC championship, as well as an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. Powers, in his 10th season, returns to coach Seattle U in their inaugural season in the WAC. The full schedule and 2012-13 roster are being finalized.
