The Mavericks closed out the set on a 13-1 scoring run, led by two kills and two block assists by Dickson.

UT Arlington (7-14, 3-6 WAC) would score four straight points early in the second set to take a 9-6 lead, but again Seattle U would fight back, eventually tying the set at 16-16 thanks to two kills by Kaytlyn Dill (Bothell, Wash.) and one kill from Jaeckel. Three kills by Ashley Bennett and three Redhawk attack errors keyed a 6-0 Maverick scoring run, and the home team would close out the second set with two kills by Taylor Gross and one from Bennett.

After a kill by Dill tied the set at 8-8, the Mavericks went on a 7-2 scoring run to open a five-point advantage. Seattle U could not get any closer than three points behind, as a block by Bennett and Dickson clinched the set and the match for UT Arlington.
