With a forecast of showers continuing throughout the day, the head baseball coaches at Seattle University and the University of Portland have agreed to cancel the game scheduled for Wednesday, April 25, at Joe Etzel Field.
As of right now, it is unknown whether or not the game, added to the schedule after both teams lost previous games against other opponents due to the weather, will be rescheduled. Portland is scheduled to play a three-game series against Seattle U May 25-27, with the games on May 26 and 27 moving to Courter Field at Bellevue College due to the KingCo playoffs being held at Bannerwood Stadium.
Seattle University, currently 19-17, will start a five-game homestand next Tuesday, May 1, against Santa Clara University at Bannerwood Stadium in Bellevue, with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.
